I'm a storyteller at heart, and for me, drawing has always been a valuable part of character creation.

Dagni Stormshield

I created Dagni for a Dungeons & Dragons oneshot I was planning with my friends. She left her ancestral home to lead the life of an adventurer, but has since settled down in a small town with a wealthy spouse.

I wanted to reflect this in her design. Dagni gets her clothes from local merchants, so they aren't particularly dwarven in design — but she wears her heritage proudly in the metal she brought from home and in the clan insignia tattooed on her shoulder.

She also really likes pretty things, so I gave her some: vibrant fabrics, lace and jewelry, and a lovingly braided beard.
